dont EVER feel like you're the only one who's in 
this position. I feel this way almost 
constantly.  I recently got some very bad news 
about my life, and when I made it public in the 
cel community...I really found out who my friends 
were, and most of them were people I didnt even 
expect to care.   I am not a part of the "cool 
cel elite" either, so dont ever feel alone ^_^. 

I, as a newbie, unknowingly created some bad 
kharma for myself last year.  This bad karmah (or 
however you spell it) STILL hasnt died down.  To 
this very day, a year later, I still have people 
on my back about dumb things I did back then 
(waves big sign to GET OVER IT).  Since then, no 
matter what I do, say, try or buy, Im still one 
of the people who's outcast in the community.  -
rolls eyes-  I dont think there really IS a way 
to be part of the (sticks fingers in the air and 
does the little 'quote marks') "Cool Cel 
Gang"...I think it's just something for a certain 
few people.  I dont really care, as Ive got my 
small, albeit very special group of friends.  It 
is a little saddening though....I see some people 
who can post on here, and get loads of responses, 
yet when I, or someone else posts virtually the 
same thing........nothing...ignored. As I stated 
in a post above, this is one of the reasons a lot 
of people are being driven away from the cel 
community.  It's a community, yet....not.  When 
you're not accepted, it always makes you feel 
blue.

Being uber nice hasnt gotten me anywhere either, 
which is why Im such a loud mouth sometimes...  I 
dont mean to be, but it's the only way to get 
anyone to pay attention to you here if you're not 
one of the Chosen.  I KNOW there's people out 
there who cant wait for me to stop collecting 
~_~.  I really do enjoy cels, and some of the 
people I meet, but it is quite disheartening when 
no one listens to you, or cares about what you 
have to say, or wants to see your cels.  ;_;  
It's enough to make anyone turn to the 'dark 
side' muwahahaha!  Dont feel bad though (big 
smile), for ever person here who's popular, 
there's a bunch like me, who..arent :blush:.  
I've found that it's not really people doing it 
to be malicious...it's just people here have 
never met most of us in person.  So, there's very 
little to base an opinion on.....just what they 
see said and done here, and on Ebay...and YJ.  
Not very rock solid, but it's enough to make 
people form views.  It's not too bright, but it's 
how it is.  (cowers in fear as flashbacks of high 
school go zipping by)  Dont feel sad, okie?  It's 
not your fault, really.  This place is a little 
tuff to break into, but there's always, ALWAYS 
good folks out there to meet ^_^.  I know a few 
myself (waves to all the people who are just 
dolls).  It's rare that people email me out of 
the blue too, but sometimes they do..and it's 
always worth it :) So, please, feel free to come 
sit at my bar, all outcasts welcome!! :raises

PS:  About the cel elite...I now talk to a couple 
of people who would probably be considered to be 
this...and they're actually very nice.  Sometimes 
all it takes is a little effort to talk to them.  
Dont always form opinions based on what you read 
here...it can be very misleading to how a person 
really is, trust me on this..
