I'm a relief veterinarian. Basically I'm an 
independent contractor who fills in at a 
veterinary hospital so the other vet(s) can take 
a vactation, go to a convention or whatever.

It keeps me very busy. I work a lot of hours. 
(Last fourth of July weekend I put in 74 hours 
over the course of five days--multiple day and 
night shifts) Unfortunately, I rarely have 
internet access when I work so I miss out on a 
lot of updates.
