Okay, very recently I stumbled upon a cel. I
knew a few people who were looking for this
character, and looking very very rampantly for
it. I had one particular person in mind, as he
has always been kind to me, and I just knew he
was looking for this character. I happened to
catch a recent update that had a great shot of
this character, a cel that I thought for sure
this person would like. It was a pretty nasty
price, but the cel was also really fine looking.
I contacted this person, and it turns out that
already had a deal in the works for a nice cel,
for a cheaper price. No harm done in any way,
turned out fine for him in the end :) :wink wink:

My question is, what do you think about keeping
an eye out for fellow collector's wishlist and/or
dreamcels. I am on good terms with quite a few
people here, and I always make it a point to note
their wishlists. On a few occassions, I've come
across people's wishlist cels. I think to
myself "God, it'd be so easy to buy this and pass
it along to them..." But, there's always a risk
that the person may not want to pay, or the cel
isnt right or something. I just have battled
with that many times. I have in the past bought
a few cels for fellow collectors, but it's never
turned out to be a super good experience. It
hasnt turned me off on it, but it didnt turn out
the way I expected it to. If somene approached
me with a cel they'd gotten for me because they
remembered I wanted it, I dont know how Id feel
really. (well, depending on the cel ^_~) It's
just a curious issue is all. Im always wanting
to help other collectors, but how much help is
too much?
