I think you've stepped over the line to compare a 
rape victim to being overcharged for shipping at 
ebay.  You admitted yourself that you didn't 
think there was enough time to ask.  Did the 
auction say that the winner would have to pay 
the 'exact' amount or a 'fixed' amount?  It is 
the bidders responsibility to find out ALL info.  
I myself have paid the same amount for shipping 
as I did the item... but hey, I wanted the item 
so I sucked it up.  

On a side note, if you weren't 'complaining' why 
did you bring up your own personal ebay 
experience in the first place?  If you just 
wanted to ask an opinion or poll, you might have 
posted:  what do you think of ebayers who charge 
say $25 for shipping in the US for an item when 
there are others who'd charge $5 for the same 
item to the same place?
