I've found that when framing cels the matting 
always looks washed out compared to the 
vivid colors of the work.  So the owner of the 
framing shop (who now is a cel fan) ordered 
me suede mats dyed in super rich jewel 
tones, acid free of course.  They are 
wonderful!  Look at how well they stand up 
against primary yellow even.
