I didn't dared saying it but I was thinking it : 
Something like flash should be used when it realy 
bring some new functionality to a website that 
couldn't be done without it. It shouldn't be used 
just to show that you know how to do it... at 
least not on a business site. Problem of Flash is 
that it's often just... flashy.
