konichiwa!
a little while back, i sold some of my cels in
order to get a little money to start saving and
to thin out my collection. well, i've now
decided to sell all of my cels except for certain
cels of characters that i'd like to keep. and
now, the cels that i had sold are up for auction
again and i am interested in purchasing them.
the question is this: the beginning bid price on
the auctions is just outright ridiculous, which
is the seller's right to set and in that context
i technically see no problem. HOWEVER, the seller
is stating in their auction a falsehood, which is
that you would be getting "a deep discount of
this cel compared to what I paid for it! WOW!"
now i know what you're thinking, so i'll say that
(1) YES, i am POSITIVE that these are the cels
that i sold this person, (2) they are the same
scans, and (3) they are the same sequence
numbers. the buy it now, which the seller offers
will give you the "deep discount...compared to
what [she] paid for it" is 6-7x what i sold it to
her for.
do you find this ethical? should i email her and
let her know mu opinion on her outright falsehood
in her auctions, or should i just let it go?
either way, for the prices that she's trying to
sell them for her i doubt that she'll sell them,
but i'd hate to see her think that she can get
away with giving false information in auctions.
