I do know how you feel though. I live on the 
Texas/Mexican border and the theft rate here is 
incredible. In the 28 years I've lived here I've 
had literally hundreds of things stolen from me 
(day and night time). In fact, I don't know 
anyone who's *never* had anything stolen from 
their homes. I've actually encountered someone 
brave enough to walk up to me, as if they are 
selling something, grab something and run!!! Oh 
well. At least here we can legally shot at 
robbers.  :)

You're absolutely right! A university should have 
security. Especially since it's right next to 
another area with many people. My university is 
situated right across an airport and security is 
always present.

I hope you get the issue resolved. It sucks to 
work so hard to buy the things you have, only to 
have someone steal it.  >:(
