And what's so ridiculous about this is that 2D 
animation is far from dead.  Disney's writers 
are just crap.  Nemo did well because it was a 
good film, not because it was 3D.  Same with 
Shrek...neither of these films were dummied down 
to cater to America's oversheltered children.  
Everyone could enjoy these films.  I think if 
anything, Disney should take a cue from Japan.  
Studies there have show than the Japanese still 
prefer 2d animation over 3d (except for video 
games, thank you Square ^_^).  Spirited Away did 
quite well, as did Lilo.  These were well 
written films.   

Oh well...Im sure Japan will be happy to scoop 
up all these poor animators.  I know they're in 
need.  Speaking of 2d...daaaaam, anyone who has 
seen trailers for the new GITS movie can tell 
you how gorgeous it is.  It very well may be the 
most visually stunning work every created!
