I hate to use nameds of shops but I am so 
tempted, as I have heard this story maybe 5 times 
from friends all from the same dealer. In my case 
he told me he was sorry and that the cel had 
actually been sold at a Convention and the person 
helping him failed to mark it down as sold. He 
then emailed me a bunch of other cels I might 
want instead, none of which interested me in the 
slightest. After turning those all down those 
cels, the one I had ordered magically turned up 
and he sent it to me.

Maybe it was confusion. I could understand the 
first mistake of forgetting to note it was sold 
but the part where it turned up seemed very 
shady. To me it seemed he was trying to get rid 
of some other cels instead and when that failed 
sent me what I had actually wanted, which was by 
far nicer and very rare.

I never bought another cel from him.
