Of course, everyone here well knows I'm in the 
opposite court from you on this issue. . . But 
the first thing I've always said about this is 
that it's an issue of *respect*. If others don't 
care about it the way I do, I don't have any 
problem with that. . . so long as they respect 
how I feel about it when they're visiting my 
gallery. ^_^

It's like putting my feet on the coffee table. I 
do it all the time at my house or my best friend's
house. But I'd never do it at my mother's, even 
though I think it's acceptable for MY own table, 
because she doesn't like it for HER table. ^_^

(But sock feet only, please. ^_~)
