Well, nothing in life is free. I dont see the
problem with YJ charging fees. The people who
run that service have to feed themselves somehow,
right? Ebay charges fees (some not so nice ones),
but you have to think about it from their point
of view. If you had a very successful website
where you offered a widely used service, would
you not charge for it? I know I would. Ebay
seems to do very well, as most traffic circulates
through there. I never find a thing on Yahoo
(regular). The bidders page may get some hype
right now, but YJ is still more well known, so
people will still use them more often.
I think cels in general are just becoming harder
to get. With CG coming up, there's fewere cel to
be had for dealers and collectors. Also, the
economy isnt doing so well. I know last year I
was getting 1500$ bonuses here and there, but
this year...nada. I've had to cut back on cels
big time. I only go for wishlist cels now, and
no cels that I think are just "neat". There have
been a lot of rare and nice cels on the market.
I think people are just generally figuring out
that hey, they have a small fortune tucked away
in cels, and it'd be more beneficial to sell them
than to keep them right now. I know I have about
10k worth of cels myself....it's sure tempting
sometimes to just get rid of them and get to
sleep early again.....nahhhh. Anyways, I think
it'll be neat to watch the bid system war in
Japan. Im pretty happy with Ebay myself ^_~ |
