Unfortunately, like most arguments, this one has 
spread so wide that it's hard to tell what anybody 
is really fighting about anymore.  But since I 
think I sparked part of it, I'll chime in 
(although I hoped to be done with this whole 
topic).

First off, Misha, you don't know me.  And I really 
don't know you.  But when you had some trouble 
and were taking offers on your cels, I made a 
gesture.  Sure it was small, but I hope it showed 
you what kind of person I am.  NOT mean.  And NOT 
petty.  I like to help people whenever and 
wherever I can.

Having said that, I want you to re-read your post 
to Yann:
"What the hell is your problem? Can you NOT just 
keep your mouth shut!? If you don't agree, leave 
the poor girl alone!! Why is it immediatly HER 
fault if everyone else conducts themselves in a 
manner that is sub-human, including you?"

If this is how some people feel (like, perhaps you 
and Shawnna), then I see what the problem is.  You 
have taken this forum so much for granted that you 
think it's like your home.  And SURE, if I 
wandered into Shawnna's home and invaded her 
privacy to tell her that I don't like something 
about her, then I am WAAAAY out of line.  But 
if she stands on a streetcorner, right outside 
my house, and decides to sing off-key as loud 
as she can for an hour, do I have a right to 
comment?  Do you see how ridiculous it would be 
in that situation to tell me "Leave her alone 
and mind your own business."?  I WAS TRYING TO 
MIND MY OWN BUSINESS, BUT SHE WOULDN'T LET ME!!!  
If someone screams in my ear and then tells me I'm 
being invasive when I ask them to stop, then I 
think they're more than rude, they're a fool.  
That is just the height of insensitivity and 
arrogance.

What if we ALL decided to air our dirty laundry as 
vocally as a select few do?  The board would crash 
every darn day.

Also, this forum doesn't belong to either of you. 
 It's not even a public place.  It DOES belong to 
Yann, so he actually CAN dictate whatever the hell 
kind of rules he wants.  Nobody is forcing you to 
come here.  But if somebody does choose to come 
here and repeatedly FORCE their thoughts on 
anybody who wants to read the board, then they are 
going to bring trouble upon themselves.  I only 
meant my little site (which took all of 10 minutes 
to create, not a big effort) as a small joke.  A 
joke which was much smaller in scope than the 
actual display put on by Shawnna on the forum that 
day.  I thought she would laugh at the 
ridiculousness of it and maybe chuckle at herself 
and go "Yeah, I guess it was a little silly.  
Maybe I'll think twice before doing that again."

But we all know she decided to take offense.  
Unfortunately.  And the only real problem I have 
with all of this is how she's conducted herself 
ever since.  Just take a step back (everybody) and 
put this in perspective.  I don't attack people 
for their quirks if they make at least a marginal 
effort to keep them under control.

God, this has gone on too long.  I'm sorry to add 
to the garbage clogging the forum!
