Anyways,
it's terribly saddening to me to see this stuff
happen over and over again. Every day, someone
gets blasted..over things that dont really even
matter. So, Eric's mad that Celga is sniping.
The road to Hell is paved with good intentions.
I think Celga does a noble thing. If it wasnt
for them, NONE of us lowly Americans who cant
speak a lick of Japanese could EVER have a chance
at these cel auctions. They snipe...but they do
it for us, the collectors. Eric was unaware of
them, and their ID, so, naturally he'd be freaked
out to see them constantly bid hundreds of
dollars on auctions at the last moment. Id be a
little wierded out about it too if I didnt know
any better.
Eric, no one WANTS to make enemies, but, you have
just totally *reinforced* what is so bad about
this hobby by stating that you have all these
special ways to get the cels, and that you can
get them at your own whim. It's people with that
mentality of "It's all mine! MINE! I can get it
and you cant, PWAHAHA!" This makes it bad for
everyone, AND creates the 'us' versus 'them'
attitude. Instead of helping others, seems like
everyone just wants to be the King of Cel
Land...get it all, so everyone will grovel to you
later for it. You get no respect like this
people. Help others cause you want to help
them....dont shell out fake generosity with the
hopes that you might get something from it
later. And dont shout out your glory to others
who may not be so fortunate, and then refuse to
share your secrets simply because of some petty
argument that happens here. It makes the cel
*hobby* into a battle field. You may not have
meant it this way, but, it is this way. If you
live in Japan, wonderful, you are very blessed.
But, most of us dont live there, so Celga's the
_only_ way for us, even with the high fees.
Eric, if you would like to help some of us, then
do so, please, to help *people*, not to put them
down. If you were to meet us on the street, you
might like some of us very well. There are some
of us who DONT want enemies. Everyone likes to
point the guns...but no one likes to get fired
at...and a lot of times, people forget to turn
the safety on. Peace? Please? Just for a while
treat everyone like people, and not potential
buyers or sellers?????? |
