And again... (Mon Jul 9 15:44:56 2001 )

It still boils down to the person that was willing
to pay the most got it. There's no evil in that,
if anything, it shows who was more serious about
winning the cel. I've paid a *lot* for some things
even though I shouldn't have, and had to have a
few "baloney sandwich weeks" because of it...
but that's my right. There are always happy and
sad people in any auction, it is sort of a
"competition" in some ways, it can't be avoided.
I've also lost auctions that Celga bid on for me,
because my bid was too low to win, it's just one
of those things. Celga is not doing anything
wrong, and they don't "take away someone else's
dream cel"- they merely bid for somone. You must
remember that it's not Celga that decides on the
amount to bid or what auction to bid on, but an
individual from the cel community that makes that
decision, and asks Celga to help them. It's a
shame we can't all have one of the cel, but then,
that would spoil it a bit, wouldn't it if they
weren't each unique?
...Just another point to consider...
