Bank Transfers in Japan are around 300 to 400
en. I charge my friends 315 en for bank
transfers under 10000en. Which is roughly about
$2.70. Shouldnt be $8. Unless its a cel over
$800, then itd be around $7 to $8. One Example,
I did a bank transfer for 60000en for 600en. If
it was 1 yen cheaper, it would have been 105en
cheaper for the bank transfers. Most sellers to
ship it Yuupack, which is 740 en for overnite in
Japan, which probably most sellers use, unless
we're talking about more than 5 to 6 cels that
are being shipped. But, if you ask seller, they
might ship it through regular post office, which
usually takes no longer than 3 days, and its like
$2. Unlike the USPS, the Japanese post office
delivers packages fairly well. But, there are
times where sellers will use COD, which is only
740 to 840 en (Still not $10). Then rarely,
sellers who charage a flat rate of 1000en. Some
other things to consider, as to how deputy
services make more money not only on their deputy
charge, but with all these other smaller things,
also the fact that the yen is not as strong as
the dollar right now, with a bank selling yen at
about 118 en to the dollar. There are also,
other ways like winning mutliple auctions and
charging everyone for shipping and bank transfer
when it can be done with one shipping and one
bank transfer. Its something everyone should
know, since you guys seems to think the $10
service charge is expensive enough, all these
little things add up. I'm Japanese, but, English
is not a problem with me. If you need more
detailed information about costs and such, I
might be able to help. Easiest way, find a
friend, not a service, who can help. Smart
people will usually do that. Befriend a seller
who ships internationally, understands English,
etc. Just what I think if youre having problems
with services, especially those who put other
customers in front. If it's business, it should
be done like a business. Customers first. First
come first serve. Only, only if youre a
business. If youre doing it as a favor, then,
they have the right to choose. But, for paying
customers ,I think it shouldn't be favortism. My
problem in Japan is that, there are always
someone in front of me to get that cel, even
though I will pay more. But, that's not how it
goes.
Even anyone brought up similar points before, Im
sorry, I didnt finish reading all the posts
before I decided to bring up points.
