If someone is posing a threat to your business,
it'd behoove you to do business competetively.
If a gas station lowers prices, you'll often find
that the gas station across the street will lower
their prices accordingly, and not tell all their
customers, "if you go to that cheaper gas
station, you can never buy gas here again!" Most
customers would say, "fine with me!"
A hostile post such as Keigo's accomplishes two
things:
1. It establishes that Keigo/celga would like to
have the freedom to pick-and-choose which of
their clients gets first dibs on a YJ auction,
while denying celga's clients their own freedom
to choose among deputy services for a given
auction, by conveying the sentiment 'if you go to
someone else, I'll never do business with you
again.' It may not be very good business to
punish your own customers because another
(cheaper) service provider is now available.
2. It provides perfect supporting evidence for
an argument in favor of anonymous posting. :P |
