Mike, honey, I've sent payments to Japan at least 
200 times, and it always costs me $3.25 for the 
money order and $.80 for the stamp. EMS for up to 
SIX (.99, but not seven) pounds is $49.95, so 
cels should NOT cost even remotely that much, but 
I can't say since I haven't sent one TO Japan. 
You seriously, seriously need to complain. And 
next time, use the USPS website first when 
checking international shipping. I've had nothing 
but good experiences with the USPS (sweet, good 
people are postal workers) but there are so total 
IDIOTS floating around (like any profession) and 
it looks like you ran into two of them.
