Your anecdote (and I assume the minimum bid wasn't insane)
differs from the actual situation slightly because your profit
gain occurred during the auction with high proxy bidding
(or high proxy sniping, whatever). In which case, the high
bidder certainly wants the cel. For highly-coveted cels,
profit via high proxy isn't a problem. If that Lum cel has
high enough demand, earning profit via consumer competition
is not a bad thing at all. (Achika cels always go this way.)
While there may not be anything inherently WRONG with
STARTING an auction with the intent of making a killing, it's
definitely in bad taste to do so - with such a high margin.
I think *that's* the issue here...
