Well, as sad as it is this happens quite often. I've even seen
people who win something off of Yahoo Japan turn around and
start an auction on ebay the day the auction ended. Obviously
they had not even sent payment in for the cels yet. It is
completely disgusting and the people who do it have no sense
of what is right and wrong. Is there anything we can do about it?
Well, to some extent - yes. Don't bid. Refuse to deal with
the person / people who do this. It's not always easy, and
I have broken down and bid on one auction from this person
who did the Yahoo Japan thing - luckily I did not win the
auction. I don't want to support what he is doing in any way.
So, I do my part and don't bid on anything he offers any more.
Sometimes it's not easy - the cel I lost out on was one that
was very high on my wishlist, and they beat me to it at Hobby
Shop K. They had it less then 2 weeks and turned around and
auctioned it off.
Unfortunately this is going to happen more and more often I
imagine, because many dealers set their prices at reasonable
rates and their are people out there who only see the all mighty
dollar sign when they see a good price on a cel.
Rather disgusted with the whole situation,
Sheri -_-; |
