Okay this is getting ridiculous. I actually had a whole long conversation about this at AWA with Marcus, who knows a thing or 2 about law (like how images are only copyrighted in an exact pose or something, I dont really know much on that topic ^^;;). But, if it is wrong to use others' scans of copyrighted characters, than it is that much worse to post someone's FANWORK on a page without permission. Someone pointed out to me that my Galaxia fancel was put on the sailormoon.org library, not even in the fanart section, but in the normal image section. I even have my signature on it. Now stupid web newbies are going to steal my drawing and stick it all over their site. Fabulous. I'm never putting anything on the web again without my name all over it. Now all anyone will be able to see is my name & URL covering most of the image. I really do not appreciate this. |
