I realize that this discussion extends beyone sailormoon. But
that's what I limit this to (yes, I do watch other anime. I've
about 100 tapes of various other shows).

The sailormoon.org image library is there to only serve fans
or future-fans of the show. We don't make any money off of it.
We simply want to share our love of the show with others.

I firmly believe that all sailormoon images are property of the
owner of the copyrights. Not who scanned them, ran the capture
software or otherwise digitized them for use on the internet.

I abhore the "Don't steal my images" campaigns because all sailormoon
images are stolen (excluding fan art). However I respect the wishes
of Cel owners because they have a vested intrest in the image (if 
they ever choose to sell the Cel). Some believe that the presence
of the image on the net lowers the value of the Cel. I'm not sure
I beleive this, but have accepted it as valid.
