As I mentioned in the first part, there is "voting with your feet."
If the demand lowers, price will too. Price can effect demand.
You or I as an individual would have really little impact. If
we got the entire cel collecting community to boycott due to
prices(well, wouldn't we buy less due to price anyways?) then
I suppose they could either listen or wait for a sucker.
The case of Disney is definately a very sad moment of the market
directing the prices. I am not saying I agree with the prices,
but just trying to explain how things work. From what I've seen,
the market works like I stated before, whether I like it or not.
