I've never even heard anything about this. But my
parents have an AT&T Universal card and they've
never had a problem. And in all my time that I've
had my card I've loved the service!!
The one time I did have (minor) problems with
Paypal, they were right there on the phone with
me (three-way) with Paypal's customer service to
sort things out. If they see strange spending on
my account, I am contacted *immediately* to
confirm that the charges are legitimate. (They
always have been, but it's nice to know that
when - out of the blue - they see almost $700 in
plane tickets appear, they won't even let it
*hit* my card until confirming it with me.) The
one time I did see an illegitamate charge appear
on my card, the charge was removed (pending
investigation) before I even hung up the phone
with them. I was immediately issued a new card
number - and the new card was in my mailbox less
than 72 hours later.
Maybe there were some problems, but I haven't had
any and it would take a lot for me to give up
this particular card!! ^_^
