I have had some real beefs with people in the
past...or rather, some people have had beefs with
me. They chose to talk with others about it, and
make comments to or about me on the forums...
(like I wouldnt notice :P) I've also spoken
about others to my friends, and posted little
comments hinting on the forums, yada yada.
Anyways, I have found that the best thing to do,
is politely email the person(s) in question, and
ask what's up. Then again...
Wanna know something that I HATE in the cel
community? The main thing that bugs me? People
are so afraid to make ripples that no one will
stand up for themselves or their friends...for
fear of "What if this person has something I want
later!" I think that's an attrocious concept.
There is one person I used to know that got
slammed by just about everyone for her dealings,
but nooooooobody would ever speak a word about it
to her personally, for fear of disrupting the
calm. So...nothing ever changed. I finally
spoke up, and wow did it cause a fuss. I for
one, do not like to see people get away with bad
dealings without a sayso. It just hurts the
community at large. I have gotten myself into
some really nasty tiffs over speaking up, but
it's what I do. I've also been on the other end,
people have snapped at me for stuff via email. 9
times out of 10, they turn out okay.
So, Id say this is a pretty personal issue. If
you have a problem with someone, and it's bad
enough for you to ask for advice here, I say talk
to this person about it. It may totally clear
up. Ive had that happen before, as well as the
other case, where the person hates your guts for
life (which is very unnecessary, and a show of
their character, not yours). There is nothing
wrong with standing your ground. You might make
an enemy out of one person, but you will always
have the solace of at least standing up for
yourself, and a whole community. Because from
what it sounds like, this person is doing
something really naughty to all of us ~_~. Just
my opinion tho, good luck! |
