She has SO MUCH nice detail in her hair!  Too bad 
no one will ever see it because of my dumb 
scanner!  ^_^  All the areas of her hair that 
look black are actually dark red with all sorts 
of detail lines and highlights.... 

*sigh*  I tried playing with the colors and the 
contrast/brightness, but nothing seems to help.
