Hi all,
Thanks to the wonders of cel resiliency and my
own misconception, things have turned out pretty
good after all.
After finally opening the package I found out
that the cel was not actually the cel I thought
it was. It was another cel that I was expecting
but not that soon.
The cel that I thought was bent to oblivion (and
the one I was really hanging out for) turned up
on my doorstep just this morning. No bends and in
perfect condition! Woohoo!

And also thanks to the careful packaging of the
cel between 2 backing boards and the cel’s
inherent toughness, the damaged cel itself was
actually not too bad off.
It was definitely bent but was not severely
creased. And there was no paint loss or cracking
that I could detect. I’m hoping that a few months
in my cel books will restore it back to normal.

Thanks for your concern and advice and sharing
your own horror stories. Its always comforting to
know that others have had similar experiences.
- X
