Some things are just not meant to happen :( (Mon Sep 23 13:37:59 2002 )

Sorry, just wanted to share my sad tale....
I just won a nice cel on Ebay for a price that
was very reasonable and for a character that I've
been after for a long while.
I paid by Paypal and the seller shipped it off
immediately.

Anyway, I just got back from work today to find
that my cel had arrived in the mail. However, to
my utter horror, I find that my cel package has
been folded in half and forced into the mailbox.
AARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!

Its not like it was a soft envelope or something.
It was a hard cardboard envelope with backing
board and would have taken some effort to fold in
half.
Admittedly there was nothing on the envelope that
said 'Do not bend!' specifically. However, I
would have thought they'd have some common sense.

I have never had a problem like this before. All
previous packages have been left near the front
door or behind the mailbox.

Anyway, I'll be making a trip to the post office
tomorrow to make a complaint. Not that it'll help
my cel much but hopefully it will prevent
something similar occurring in the future.

I haven't opened the package yet as I'm going to
show it at the post office. But even afterwards I
don't think I can bear to open it. Maybe I should
burn the whole package and pretend it never
existed :(

I know some other people have been in similar
situations. I'm wondering what they did with the
remains of their cel?

Anyway, thanks for listening to my ramble. I feel
better after getting it off my chest.

- Sad X

ps. I know most sellers do this already but it
would help tremendously if when we send packages
we mark them with a 'Do not bend!'.
