... but you may not like them.

1) Create you own thumbnails. It's not hard, 
really. After you scan your cel and save it to 
disk, just resize it again to about 150pixels in 
width and hit SAVE AS. Save it under a different 
name (I usually go with whatever the file name 
is and add "nail" to it). If you upload 
everything at once, it's not quite so long a 
wait.

2) Upload during the wee hours of the morning. 
If you upload when there's less traffic to 
Rubberslug (anywhere from 3am-7am in the US), 
you'll get better speed. Yeah, it means you 
either gotta stay up late or get up early, but 
RS is pretty popular. If you upload during high 
traffic hours (around 6pm-11pm in the US), 
things are DEFINITELY gonna be slower.

3) Use smaller size pictures. You really don't 
need 600+ pixels in width or more. Usually 
around 400-600 pixels in width is just fine. If 
your graphics are big, so are their size. And it 
will also be faster loading for people visiting.

You can also make your own page. Most people 
say "I can't do HTML!" Get a HTML editor and 
play around with it! It doesn't bite or spit. 
~_^ You won't learn how to do anything unless 
you try it out for yourself. I taught myself 
HTML and my site isn't half bad (well.... yes it 
is if you're on dial up. Yare yare... 6_6;;)
