Yes, I have been doing mostly commission now. I
actually have just started with fan cel work
(well, outside of my job doing Promotional cel).
Unfortunately I have not much original fan cel to
show. I have original ART but it says not to post
anything that is not cel. I have only been doing
this for 3 weeks (like I try a few cels on bay and
got email for commission). That's why I'm here
asking about what people think because I want to
know I'm not do anything wrong, you know? So I
must post some ther cel that I do that are from
artbook. Another Seshoumaru XD (Fluffy-sama) that
was a rough sketch I refined and painted. I just
now doing more original illustration of character
to make into cel.

I work for crappy animation studio XD. It's
named Corus Entertainment (owns Nelvana?). I HATE
my job. I worked on a season of Disney's
Gargoyles, umm..Eek the Cat, just many bad
children's cartoons..not challenging. I am having
manga book published though so I can draw better
thing. The problem with animation is you must draw
what they tell you to. Lucky now I am in
development department. Which means I have an
assistant and we take ideas for cartoon and
develop what this cartoon will look like, (this is
where I do background (layout), background paint
and character design on cel for company
presentation). If the character is not to
complicated then I have an assistant who cleans it
up and someone else cel paint. But sometimes I
just want to cel paint my own because I want to
choose the colours. But I hate it. They always
tell me my drawings are too complicated. They want
money and they need simple character to reproduce
by many people very fast. So, This year I am going
back to Japan. ^^;. hopefully >___>....ja, I talk
to much..
anyway, here is cel example another Fluffysama
(sorry e__e;). He is popular right now and
interesting to paint. If you want to see more you
can email me-
