Well, take this for what you will...
Over the last several years we have lived in a
few different areas, however due to certain
collecting habits I have always made pretty
decent friends with the workers at the nearest
few Post Offices.
One thing I have been told ironically by all of
them without prompting and just casual chatting
is NOT TO write stuff like "please do not bend"
on the package I was told that it occasionally
offends the worker and they actually sometimes
bend these on purpose! Now, whether that is the
case or not, considering we have all heard about
the rare disgruntled postel worker, I don't write
anything like this on the package.
For anyone who has received a cel from Dave and
myself, I do most of the packing. I use sturdy
cardboard on both sides of the cel which I then I
put in a bubble wrap mailer. I use enough
cardboard that it should be pretty obvious it's
not meant to be bent and it would take a pretty
serious effort to actually bend it. Well, (knock
on wood) I have never sent a cel that was
reported to me as damaged in postal transit. Now
lost altogether on the other hand, don't get me
started... ^_~
