I know this is an OT topic, but I just wanted to
say that there was recently a HUGE conversation
of "bad anime" on this forum that you might want
to check out (it's probably archived on page
three or four by now).

Personally, I never know how to answer questions
like "good" or "bad" anime. There was a massive
amount of titles listed in that "bad anime"
thread - and many of them were shows I actually
enjoyed. So if I recommend something to you,
there's no guarantee that you'll like it. Depends
on your induvidual tastes. "One man's trash is
another man's treasure" type of thing. You just
gotta throw caution to the wind sometimes and try
something new. *shrugs*

Here's a suggestion: why don't you take some time
to visit everyone's cel galleries? Chances are if
someone collects from a title, it means they
liked that anime enough to recommend it. And I
know some folks have commentaries on their cels,
which might pique your interest to a certain
title.

While I may be known for my "After War Gundam X"
cels, I don't know if I'd recommend it to
everyone. Either you'll like it, or you'll hate
it; there's really no telling. Some people
think "GX" was better than "Gundam Wing", and
some think it was the worst Gundam series ever.
*shrugs* Hey, to each his own...

And in my humble opinion, "Berserk" is one of the
best anime series I've ever seen!! I'd recommend
it if you like dark medieval-fantasy stories.
It's NOT for those looking for a silly, good old
time; "Berserk" is full of violence, partial-
nudity, blood, rape and torture. This is not for
kids. Although the ending will disappoint (since
the manga is still continuing, it does not END).
And please for the love of God, watch it in
Japanese language, or else you'll be missing out
on some fantastic performances by Canna Nobutoshi
and Morikawa Toshi
