I don't know why the transition into animation 
makes men "nipple-less". O_o Some manga have art 
with nipples, though - case in point, Takashima 
Kazusa's 'Wildrock'. (Yes, I'm posting this 
fancel again ^_~) Maybe not as detailed as the 
women's but still, better than nothing.
