HI I have an intresting situation here:

I signed up for Anime Chaos' Deputy service and 
bid on the Kuro-neko cel for my wife.  (see 
previous post)  I bid a ridiculous amount of 
money for it: 30,000 yen or around 270 dollars.

There were subsiquent bids and the price ended up 
at 21,000 yen with me winning.  However, 10 
minutes before the auction ends "shadowcat785jp" 
shows up and bids 29,999.  So the result is that 
I won the bid but at my max price.

  So my question is do you think they logged on 
and bid in order to jack up the price and vis a 
vis their fee? ( I just think it incredibly 
strange that someone would bid 999 instead of 001)

Has this happened to other people? Winning by 1 
yen I mean.

Finally, let me say that I have heard plenty of 
good things about Anime Chaos, just that this is 
a very strange thing to happen to me on my first 
YHJ bid.  But hey, it just might be holloween.
