We've had this discussion before. Legal does not
equal Moral. The morals set by the cel
collecting community in general basically follow
the lines of buy cels because you love them, if
you need to sell one, fine, and you can even sell
at a profit, as long as it isn't something you
make a habit of. Selling is what the folks that
make connections in japan do as a business, they
provide a service and we pay them for it. People
who simply snag popular cels at those dealer
sites and jack up the price for immediate resale
are not providing a service, they're being a pain
in the A$$
I'm sorry if this is too blunt but I think this
pretty much sums up the general feeling. We've
all collected cels and ended up selling some at
some point. Most of us have made money on a cel
at some point. But we don't do it all the time,
and we don't do it with the idea of benefitting
from others' misfortune. |
