Historically, most folks on this forum tend to
take a dim view of people who purchase cels from a
publicly available source, then turn around and
quickly resell them for a profit.
For instance, the Lord of Nightmares cel that you
purchased recently for 40000 yen -- many other
people tried to order that cel, and were too late.
While I'm sure they were initially happy for the
lucky buyer, I'm equally sure that they now feel
upset that this person may have done so out of
mercenary interests rather than love of the cel.
While this topic has come up periodically over the
years, the most recent iteration was before you
started posting to the forum, so I thought you
should know.
Now obviously, somebody who wants the cel badly
enough to put aside personal feelings may be
willing to purchase one or the other of those rare
items you're reselling. However, if you were to
reprice the cels at or near what you paid, you
would have a lot more takers... and more
credibility as a collector in the future.
Just my 2-cents' worth. And I would like very
much to request that anyone who responds to this
thread please post their name -- the anonymous
thing is really getting old. Arigatou, mina-san! |
