I have local friends who love anime, and local
friends who are artists. Some artist friends who
don't watch anime can still appreciate my cels,
AND read my timing sheets. ;) The ones who
appreciate anime can enjoy the characters and
scenes in many cases.
My husband is tolerant of the cels, if not of the
quantity. He only gives me weird looks, though.
;) Recently one of my cels FINALLY got him to
break down and exclaim "That's a great cel of...!"
It was a long anticipated moment, I suppose.
My son (12 years old) loves my cels. My daughter
(turned 6 today) does as well, and she got her
first seiyuu-signed cel (of Zelgadis, whom she
plans to marry) at the age of 5 so she's off to a
good start.
Even the woman who owns the house next door to me
(and her son) loves my cels. She lives in Texas,
but visits occasionally.
All of this could be why I'm such a slug about
putting my cel site together. ={ I don't have any
fellow cel collector friends to show them to
off-line, though, so I'm trying to increase my
pace from slug to tortoise.
