I, like most people here, do indeed value a
person's personality over their physical features
^^ But since this thread seemed to be what
attracted us, in physical terms, that's what I
blabbed about.

As I read all the threads where people said they
loved Nuriko for his personality (which I agree
with, though he isn't my fav FY character...I
still get disturbed by the whole masculizing that
goes on with him...I feel like Yu Watase's trying
to say there's no such thing as a true transexual
o.O), and I don't doubt you love his personality.
BUT would you love him as much if he were butt
ugly? I mean really seriously? Think about it for
a second. Get the mental image in your head. It
might make all of us re-evaluate how much we base
people off of their looks. Nakago wouldn't seem
half as evil if he weren't so gorgeous,
somehow...and Tamahome wouldn't be anywhere near
as valient. Tasuki wouldn't be rugged, Chichiri
wouldn't seem as tragic, and
Mitsukake...erm...Mitsukake....wouldn't be
so...umm...Mitsukake. When you think about it,
mor eof their personality is in their looks than
we realize o.o

Hehe...yeah, Tara, I definitely agree that we
feel the femmy guys are more nurturing (see my
above posts) and better in a life-mate sense,
whereas masculine guys are more of a "copulate
with me and make me have strong healthy babies"
thing.

Of course, this is coming from the girl who
thinks gender-bending is the sexiest thing any
person can do ^^

OK, done now, just a little thought that popped
into my head.

P.S. - Has anyone ever read the on-line
comic "Lean on Me"? It's wonderful. It's about a
MTF (male-to-female transexual) and a girl who
fall in love...really makes ya think.
