(This really is cel related, I promise. ^_^;;)
I was wondering. . . When I run Ebay auctions,
I've made it part of my standard setup to say:
"insurance on my auctions is always optional, but
I do not take reponsibility for items shipped
uninsured." I figured this might make a cheapie
item more attractive since the person doesn't
have to shell out that bit extra if they don't
want. But (and here is how all this relates to
cels ^_^) I had a friend who was looking at the
auctions and said something to the terms of, she
thought I was opening myself up for trouble that
way. In general, but especially if I'm auctioning
cels since they're one of a kind and people would
get more irate about a lost package since they
can't just get the "next one" that pops up for
auction. (Like I could with most Hard Rock Cafe
pins, for example.)
Anyhow, she suggested I should drop the
"insurance optional" on my cel auctions (at
least) so to aviod potential problems with a
rabid collector. What do you all think?? o_0
(I didn't ask her whyever she thought we were so
rabid! Maybe I should. . . ^_^;;;)
