Yann, to understand what was meant, you have to
know that in the US, Switzerland is steriotyped
as being neutral in absolutely everything. For
example, if someone tries to drag someone else
into a fight, that person might reply with: "I'm
Switzerland." It's a US slang phrase that's like
saying: "I don't want to be involved."
Since the comment you made leaned far from what
might be called neutral. . . I think you probably
get it now. . .
