I believe the post office isn't going to refund
her in time.
Well she should ask her family or friends for a
loan, if that doesnt work, try this...
If she has a credit card, she should call them up
and pretend she's in an emergency situation, and
needs them to raise her limit immediately. Make
up a story - oh my car broke down needs a new
transmission, I'm far away from home, I can't
reach any of my friends or relatives etc
etc...blah blah blah...
I did this once, Well it was an actual emergency,
and they hooked me up right away. $350.00 isn't
alot of money to ask for, unless her credit is
totally shot, they will approve the request
instantly. Then go to the ATM and take it out as
a cash advance.
The money order may not be lost, international
mail resumed delivery on Thursday Sept 27,
because of the terrorists. So if she sent the
payment between Sept 11 and Sept 27, it was just
sitting in a USPS distribution center pending
outbound departures. (I checked the USPS website
for the news)
In the future, use only registered air mail, or
International Express Mail. This mail is
tracked and under high security, I have never
lost an article of mail using this method. FedEx
and UPS are also alternatives. |
