When I bought something on E-bay

I sent the cash unregistered, it wasn't a great 
big amount of money, Think it was three bucks. 
For a cute kero kero address thingie for my 
little neice. Same sitch..in hong kong, no MOs 
cash only.

I should have known better..sending cash is a 
dumb thing to do, but I figured who was so cheezy 
to rip me off three bucks? If they did it was 
ONLY three bucks.

I hope they needed the money and It was helpful 
to them...like, they needed some Mac n cheeze
and my three bucks helped em buy food..cause I 
never saw the item.

I wrote only once and politely asked about it, 
but they said that they had sent the item and 
they were glad that I enjoyed it(?!).

then I got a letter from ebay saying that the 
seller said I never paid them.

How could I prove I sent the payment? I didn't 
know if the item got lost in the mail or the 
seller was lying..all I had was the emails 
between us that arranged for cash..**smacks self 
for being so dumb** and the stupid one that said 

I sent it Hope you enjoy it.

I wrote to the seller and said basically: He had 
all the money he was going to get from me, and if 
he had better fix that non pay sitch right NOW.. 
he never responded and I let the whole thing 
drop.  

I wrote to ebay about it, but nothing happened.
