I think its the person who emailed you who is
being too paranoid.
too bad for him. It seems like overkill if they
wouldn't outbid someone with no feedback ever!
..I have bid against someone with no feedback
before and Im not the type of paranoid goit who
thinks that whenever I bid the seller is out to
get me and shill every last dime from my pocket.
For one thing, Im not going to let anyone shill
me.
I have a set price in mind when I bid that Im not
going to go over. I lose a lot of auctions but Im
guaranteed im not shilled into infinity. If the
price keeps rising until my max bid and I lose,
so what. I was gonna spend that much anyway. If
its less then I expected Im pretty happy.
For the second thing
Obviously noone can avoid getting newbies bidding
on their stuff. if other people are going to be
overly suspicious then its their loss. Caution is
one thing...being a dork and accusing someone of
unfair business practice without hard evidence is
another all together.
Your feedback if youve sold anything in the past
should help validate you. It sucks though that
now you have to feel all paranoid because someone
else has a problem.
