My title this week is Information Systems
Analyst... I think. It changes quite frequently.
Basically, if someone in the company breaks a PC,
gets a virus, has a system crash, ruins a hard
drive, etc, I get the call. Depending on our
budget, if we can't afford a network specialist
to work on a server problem, I have to do that
too (or I can write up an authorization to get a
specialist if I end up screwing things up even
worse ;). I also configure new PC's for all the
departments. You'd be suprised how many copies of
Quake Arena we have. ^_^
I recently got myself a new name plate for my
desk decribing what I do. "I fix broke stuff." :)
