I just wanted folks to know that I heard back from 
them this morning.  They are sticking to the story 
that another customer of theirs won the auction, 
but they have made the kind offer to contact that 
winner to see if something can be worked out.

If nothing else, it's a nice gesture.  I'm glad to 
see some empathy from them.
