The only thing I am worried about (though this 
sounds like an excellent idea ^_^) is that this 
will violate eBay's privacy laws (you know, the 
ones that dumped 45 of my auctions recently 
^_^;;) 

eBay has made it very clear that any attempt to 
get e-mail addresses other than after the auction 
is over will be seen as "collecting information" 
(I had a big e-mail conversation with one of the 
ebay people). They will instantly dump your 
auctions and possibly ban you if this is the case.
