I dunno, I've always kind of felt like what I say,
whether online, or in person, is a reflection of
me. so unless I'm having to deal with something
that is VERY VERY touchy... (like an ex-boyfriend
in the same forum as me)
I like to put my name on my post. If I say
something that someone takes offense to or
misunderstands,... I'm going to try to explain, or
make ammends for what I have said. In the real
world I cant put a bag over my head... so I guess
not doing so here, is like even more "social
practice".
Putting your face with your words means you are
accountable for what you say... So yeah, Lady Z,
it does make you second guess a little, ... and
that's ok... maybe it'll keep me from saying
something rash as often as I would if I just didnt
sign my posts. I dont think people should be
forced to sign, I'm just explaining my reasons for
signing my posts, and my reasons for respecting
people even more so when they sign their posts.
(especially when they are saying something
controversial). I have alot of respect for someone
who isnt afraid to say what they mean, and be held
up to it.
I still say stuff I would like to take back
sometimes... but I guess that comes with it. I
just hope that people will HOPEFULLY take the
average of what I post and make their assumptions
about me based on that, and not just one post.
