Actually, all providers have a very good reason
to ban this - it's called "bandwidth stealing" and
can run up very high bills O_O, which is worse
when the traffic hits don't even count on the
server from where the files are pulled (I don't
mean total counts, of course). But firstly, why do
you want files to be remotely accessed? (What
kind of material.) If it's for your *own* use,
i.e. password protected and such, there are free
"disk storage" space servers for private use
(i.e. on-line backup). Some may even allow out-
linking, I'm not sure... If the data are images,
Photopoint, Honesty, and some other freeservers
will allow out-linking (that I'm aware of).
Anyway, check out Myspace.com for
an example of an on-line "hard drive." ^_^
