US copyright law (insert disclaimer about not 
knowing other countries' policies) states that 
even if you copy an image/text/song/etc exactly, 
it's not illegal to do so. . . . Unless you SELL 
it.

It's the "Personal Use" clause of the copyright 
law. So it's not illegal in any way to simply 
make a fancel.
