I completely understand what your talking about.
And gathering up a wealth of knowledge and
information is great. But it can be done in many
more ways than immedietly posting messages all
over a forum even if it specificly says "if your
a newbie research before posting." I'm not
necessairly talking about this forum, it happens
really rare on here because of the extremely
helpful crowd of vets and the fact that cels
aren't exactly too complicated an issue, but in
general its a pet peeve of mine when people dont
take the time to look up the least bit of
information before 'ignorantly' (this sounds a
little harsh, but I couldn't think of a better
word) sucking all the information out of the
seasoned veterans and usually tossing away their
respectability right from the start. simply
because they dont care enough to try and find
things out the way the original vets did...
researching on their own.
I'm sorry, I dont think I'll be supporting
the "save the newbies" fund any time soon, ^^ but
there's no doubt I'll have a lot more respect for
you as you grow and learn.
Also... Just curious... are you one of the
seasoned vets on any of the forums you ever go
to? or are you speaking completely as a 100%
newbie, never having experienced 'newbies' from a
different stand point other than the one you so
clearly support?
